HomeMy WebLinkAboutNovember 18, 2004 - Council COUNCIL MINUTES THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM P.O.Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Thursday,November 18,2004 6:45 p.m.—Presentations to Helen Vince and Jim Hevenor The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday,November 18, 2004 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Lynn Acre,Deputy Mayor Mathew Schafer, Councillors Mark Taylor and Paul Ens,Administrator Kyle Kruger and Clerk Lynda Millard. Councillor Cliff Evanitski was absent. Planning Co-ordinator Margaret Underhill and Fire Chief Sam Taylor were in attendance to present their respective reports. 1. 6:45 p.m.- CALL TO ORDER& PRESENTATION OF VOLUNTEER AWARDS Mayor Lynn Acre called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. The Mayor requested Ms. Vince and Mr.Hevenor to come forward and thanked them on behalf of Council for their volunteer efforts on the Port Burwell Marine Museum Committee and presented each of them with a certificate of recognition. Port Burwell Marine Museum Committee Chairman Barbara Rycquart offered her appreciation on behalf of the Committee and presented each with a thank you card. The meeting was adjourned temporarily to allow for a social time and reconvened at 7:10 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. DELEGATIONS (a) 7:15 p.m.- Steve Beatty,Emereencv Measures Ontario was in attendance to congratulate and present an award of essential level achievement to the Municipality through the Partnership Towards Safer Communities program.
