HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law No. 2000-104 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO. 2000-104 A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2000-14 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE BARTLEY DRAIN- SMITH BRANCH WHEREAS the Bartley Drain- Smith Branch was constructed under the provisions of the Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1990, and according to the By-law of the Municipality providing for such reconstruction and according to the Report the Engineer made thereon; AND WHEREAS the actual cost of the reconstruction was more than the estimated cost; THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the attached schedule of assessment amends By-law No. 2000-14 to reflect the actual cost of the Bartley Drain - Smith Branch increasing by$4, 041.90 from the Engineer's Estimate of$53,900.00 to the actual cost of$57, 941.90. 2. THAT the approved estimated cost and the borrowing of money by way of temporary advances pending sale of debentures in the amount of$57, 941.90 decreased by $13,709.83 to $ 44, 232.07, the actual cost of assessments that exceed $150. 3. THAT this By-law comes into force on the passing thereof and may be cited as the `Bartley Drain- Smith Branch Amending By-law".. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 19th day of December 2000.
