BY-LAW NO. 98-106
A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 98-72
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE FEARNLEY
DRAIN BRANCH "A" PURSUANT TO CHAP.
D. 17 OF THE DRAINAGE ACT,R.S.O. 1990.
WHEREAS the Fearnley Drain Branch"A"was constructed under the provisions of the
Drainage Act, R.S.O. 1990, and according to the By-law of the Municipality providing for such
reconstruction and according to the Report the Engineer made thereon;
AND WHEREAS the actual cost of the reconstruction was more than the estimated cost;
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the attached schedule of assessment amend By-law No. 98-72 to reflect the actual
cost of the Fearnley Drain Branch"A" increasing by$797.41 from the Engineer's
Estimate of$8,600 to the actual cost of$9,397.41.
2. THAT the approved estimated cost and the borrowing of money by way of temporary
advances pending sale of debentures in the amount of$8,600 decreased by$5,442.62 to
$3,157.38,the actual cost of assessments that exceed$150.
3. THAT this By-law comes into force on the passing thereof and maybe cited as the
"Fearnley Drain Branch"A"Amending By-law".
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 22nd day of December, 1998.
READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this 22nd day of December, 1998.
