BY-LAW 98-26
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 98-17
A BY-LAW TO ADOPT A PERSONNEL POLICY
WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Bayham recognizes the need for a clear
and concise set of policies concerning personnel management;
AND WHEREAS Council of the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of collating all
policies in one manual so as to aid Council and Staff;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it
advisable that the Personnel Policy be confirmed and adopted by by-law;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham now
deems it necessary to amend By-law No. 98-17;
THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM
HEREBY ENACTS THAT BY-LAW NO. 98-17 BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
Under Job Descriptions for the positions of:
Road Superintendent
Working Road Foreman/Leadhand
Public Works Labourer
Road Equipment Operators
Under the Section"Working Conditions" the portion:
"May 1-Oct 31 work extended hours, 44 hours a week.
Hours of work are from 7;00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Monday to Thursday, and
from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is for half an hour.
November 1-April 30 regular hours, 40 hours a week "
Be deleted and replaced by the following portion:
"Regular hours of work, 40 hours a week."
Read a first and second time this 19th day of March, 1998.
Read a third time and finally passed this 19th day of March, 1998.
