Off Road Vehicle Exemption for Emergency Services
A staff report was presented to recommend an amendment to Bayham’s Off Road
Vehicle by-law to allow emergency services to operate their off-road vehicles on
Municipal roads if required. Council resolved for staff to present the amending by-law
for passage which was passed later in the meeting.
Development Reports
Council approved rezoning application ZBA-10/23 Froese for 57268 Calton Line. The
rezoning changes the property from Agricultural (A1-A) to Special Agricultural (A2) on
the retained lands, and from Agricultural (A1-A) Zone to a Rural Residential (RR)
Zone on the severed lands to permit the severance of a surplus farm dwell ing.
Straffordville Community Committee Letter of Support
Council received correspondence from the Straffordville Community Committee
requesting a letter of support for submission to Elgin County’s Community Grant
Program. Council approved said request with recognizing that Watermelon Fest is a
community festival of municipal significance for Bayham.
Site Plan Amendment – Max Underhills Farm Supply Limited
Council received an informational report for an amendment to a site plan agreement
for Max Underhill’s Farm Supply Limited. The amendment supports a 525 m2
addition to the existing north storage building at 56532 Calton Line.
