To whom it may concern,
The items that I would like discussed on the budget are as follows:
I believe that Port Burwell and Vienna,being villages similar to Straffordville,deserve equal treatment and
investment in their infrastructure and amenities. To that end,I suggest the following improvements:
For Vienna:
*Create a walking track at the Vienna Memorial Park by the VLCC from the Vienna reserve fund in 2026
*Upgrade equipment at the Vienna Memorial Park,adding a slide and hopefully a splash pad
For Port Burwell:
*Install playground equipment near the beach in 2026
*Enhance beautification efforts on the Main Street,such as installing new light standards,which is particularly
important in the tourist town in 2026-since there is a large surplus as a result of our large tax increase the previous
year there should be money available to do these projects.
I'd also like to see our lighthouse kept under the ownership of the municipality and fixed under the tax levy in 2026
By adopting a more equitable approach,we can ensure that both villages receive the support and resources they need
to thrive.

Good morning please see my input for the capital budget
There are tractors trailers, using chute Road as a means of transporting farm produce there are hills and valleys, and a
very narrow road.This needs to be looked at because it's a safety hazard and visibility issues .The speed reduction
doesn't fix this. These trucks are using excessive speeds as well and these trucks are destroying the roads on both Light
Line and chute road.
There's$241,608 in the Vienna reserve fund the court fencing needs to be fixed plus the signage has been destroyed. It's
been vandalized, requires fixing and is a safety hazard. This has been identified previously to staff at the municipality .
It would be nice to have benches and a walking track at the Vienna community park expenditure out of the Vienna
reserve fund.
The Vienna Memorial Park needs some sort of playground equipment.The swings are old and outdated there needs to
be newer playground equipment there in 2026- it seems constantly pushed out to future years.
The east beach needs some sort of playground equipment for children.This is a common structure at many beaches to
improve the tourism experience. I don't think it's realistic to expect kids to go over to the baseball diamond to play on
the playground equipment.
