Requests One request was received for committee discussion for this meeting which relates to Christmas decorations at the cemetery. DISCUSSION Donations Staff reached out to local funeral homes, they leave the direction of donations up to the families to determine where to be directed. Staff would suggest, the municipality add a donation write up on the municipal website to cover any donations and direct them to e-transfer for payment with a form for submission of information for official receipt. Requests Staff would recommend that each cemetery handle Christmas decorations in the same manner as Decoration Day/ Father’s Day or Mother’s Day for the respective periods. RECOMMENDATION THAT Memo JCB-02/25 re Members Request Report be received for information. THAT the Joint Cemetery Board recommends to Council to have staff be directed to provide a mechanism to collect donations for the Cemeteries on the corporate website.
