in the form of Pier and Dock Lights, Ship Models, Ship's Propellers, and
Ship's Portholes, along with others. All are in good condition, and were
examined by Committee Member B. Masschaele. The estimated value, of this
collection, is approximately $17,000.00 and was considered too valuable to let
go elsewhere. A number of uses were suggested such as Street Decorator Lights,
East Pier Lights, as well as displaying some of them at the Marine Museum and
Lighthouse. Councillor Tom Southwick
has agreed to present the Pier Light proposal to the Harbourfront Committee.
It was moved by Susan Start, seconded by B. Masschaele, that the Museums
Bayham Committee recommend the purchase of this collection.
Mr. Bradfield has indicated a desire to donate the purchase price back to the

initiative will require much thought and planning, and will take some time to
establish.
