A. London Bost Show
The volunteer list for Loudon Boat Shaw passes for Booth,\ttet.d rtti is to b.:,submitted
by January 2i,2016. The Boat Show is held February 19,20,21 Items to be displayed
will be loaded either the.^.:day or Friday for the 10N10 booth. Badges can be picked up
when the booth is set up. Several members submitted their names ct,voluntecri 14w this
event. There may be volunteers from the Historical Socit.ty as ell. natio;re to be
submitted to Bev before January 23rd. A schedule for volunteers will be confirmed at the
February meeting. Chuck also shared a moja of the booth and arena_

A. Museums Bavhatne Council Discussion:Edison Museum Future,
A special meeting will be held on Thursday„tsnaur}'-il<th at 6:30 in the Council Chambers.
this meeting will be devoted to the subject of the Edison Museum future. Museum Bayhatn
members and ail of the sub-committee members ore invited to attend, Malt will ensure the sub-
committee members are aware of this meeting,.
13. Telephone Answering Service
there was discussion regarding the need for an answering machine ocean-forwarding for the
museums. 'Ihis would support the ability to answer inquiries when the museums err not open.

11. Finances(budget)Repnttt en Council Budget Deliberations,January 5,2016,
the Museums Bavlt:un budget was passed as presented on our final draft submitted to Council,
The exception was a change to the thio re0ecting the Edison museum,with a reduction to reflo:d
a litnitcd operation this year, There is a need to increase attendance to help reduce Oe cost of
operations. Council approved the creation of a position for a Part-time Curator,and a job
description will he errated anti posted. There will he students hired again es well this veer.

A. Brochures:
The municipality ha., an adequate number of brochures ibradvertising this year. t lirwever,3 of
the brochures need alteration.;to reflect current museum status. Sian'will provide stickers to be
placed in the brochures. limberly will arrange to place stickers in 100 of each of the brochures
before the Boat Show for distribution there, Additional bro.:tures can be updated with stickers
as needed.
B. /or Interest:
Ron Bra ltield shared the phoria of the Fort Burwell lighthouse on the cover of this seat's
telephone hook. It addition,the Lighthouse is Featured in a current'Lighthouses of Canada
calendar from i Vraan Publishing(August photo)
