2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF
No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared.
3. APPLICATION
A. Minor Variance Application A-01/22 Galeckas and Storey
THE PURPOSE of the variance is to grant relief from Zoning By-law regulations in
Section 5.3 Minimum Lot Area, to permit minimum lot area of 17.2 ha (42.7 acres)
whereas 20.0 ha (50 acres) is the permitted minimum, for lands located at 54990
Baldwin Line, north side, west of Maple Grove Line.
THE EFFECT of this variance will be to recognize existing reduced minimum lot area
which would permit the development of a single detached dwelling on a vacant farm
parcel.

5. PRESENTATIONS BY APPLICANT/AGENT
Applicant Marc Galeckas was present and noted Secretary/Treasurer M. Underhill covered
everything in Report DS-04/22.
6. PUBLIC SUBMISSIONS
Secretary/Treasurer M. Underhill confirmed no submissions received.
7. COMMITTEE QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION
Committee member Weisler inquired as to the difference in shape of land from the notice to
application image. Secretary/Treasurer M. Underhill noted the application image is an aerial
depiction and lot lines are not exact.
8. DECISION OF COMMITTEE (Motions)
Moved by: Committee Member C. Valerie Donnell
Seconded by: Committee Member Susan Chilcott
THAT the Committee of Adjustment Secretary/Treasurer's report DS-04/22 regarding
the Galeckas and Storey minor variance be received;
AND THAT the Committee of Adjustment considered all written and oral submissions
received on this application, the effect of which helped the committee to make an
informed decision;
AND WHEREAS the Committee agrees that the proposed variance as presented meets
Section 45.1(1) of the Planning Act and is considered minor;
THEREFORE application A-01/22 submitted by Marc Galeckas and Kaitlyn Storey,
pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act for minor variance, is granted to allow relief
from Municipality of Bayham Zoning By-law Z456-2003:
Section 5.3 Minimum Lot Area to permit a minimum lot area of 17.2 ha (42.7
acres) whereas 20.0 ha (50 acres) is the permitted minimum.

THAT the Committee of Adjustment hearing for consideration of Minor Variance
Application A-01/22 be adjourned at 6:53 p.m.;
AND THAT in accordance with the regulations of the Planning Act, Notices of Decision
be circulated by the Secretary -Treasurer accordingly.
