Councillor Wayne Casier was absent. Deputy Clerk/Planning Coordinator Margaret Underhill was in attendance. Signed in attendees: Roselyne Chues, Ross Graham, Michelle Graham CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ens called the public meeting to order at 7:36 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT (a) Application submitted by Berkel Holdings The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning on a parcel from the Rural Commercial (RC) and Agriculture (Al ) Zones to a Rural Residential (RR) and Rural Residential Exception (RR -28) Zones The effect of the by-law will be to permit the construction of a single detached dwelling and to permit a lot frontage of 47m instead of 50m for the existing dwelling subject to Consent Application E46/15. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION October 15, 2015 Roselyne Chues presented concerns regarding the current process of public meeting notification which she feels does not accommodate individuals with disabilities. Ms. Chues expressed concerns of the use of the word "exception" in the zoning by-law notice. Council responded that the word "exception" pertains to a site specific zoning designation for the property to recognize the reduced frontage. Ms. Chues requested Council consider a by-law to regulate outdoor furnaces to which Council responded the current meeting is for specific planning purposes and suggested she submit a request for delegation at a future meeting. Ms. Chues requested communication via telephone in response to her querries. 6. CORRESPONDENCE No written comments were received. 7. OTHER BUSINESS None. 8.
