The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment.
+4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT
A. Zoning Application submitted by Timothy and Samantha Harms
THE PURPOSE of this By-law is an amendment to change the zoning regulations on 36.8 ha
(90 acres) of land to allow supplementary farm dwelling floor area maximum of 279 m2 (3,003
ft2) in the form of two mobile trailers and one permanent building to accommodate up to
eighteen (18) seasonal farm labourers, in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The subject lands are
located at 8542 Plank Road, east side, north of Jackson Line.

THE EFFECT of this By-law will be to recognize the existing supplementary farm dwelling in
the form of a 65 m2 (700 ft2) floor area trailer, which will be relocated, for up to five (5)
labourers; to permit a second trailer of the same dimensions and capacity; and, to permit the
development of a third supplementary farm dwelling in the form of a 149 m2 (1,603 ft2)
permanent building for up to eight (8) labourers, with combined floor area exceeding the
maximum of 167 m2 (1,800 ft2).

THAT the Zoning By-law be considered at the regular meeting of May 20, 2021;
AND THAT pursuant to the Planning Act requirements, the Public Meeting for Zoning
Application Timothy and Samantha Harms is now complete at 7:40 p.m.
