Jim McClintock re Beach Vendor Proposal added as Item 11.1.2 A B. By-Law No. 2020-072 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs being an agreement regarding the Rural Economic Development Program added as item 12 L July 15, 2020 I, Jim McClintock, propose to operate my food truck business on the Port Burwell beach for the 2021 summer season. I agree to pay the $1200 fee for placement, plus HST for each month in operation. I will obtain a written approval from Southwestern Public Health and submit a copy to the Municipality prior to placement. With this, I will provide an operational plan outlining how my operations will comply with all Southwestern Public Health guidelines and Provincial Orders. An insurance certificate and a WSIB certificate for my business will also be provided to the Municipality prior to placement. Due to timing and current circumstances I am unable to begin operations in Port Burwell this year, however, in order to secure the placement, I am willing to pay $1200, plus HST for the month of August 2020 without placement, or pay a deposit. If Council approves, I will submit the money immediately. Thank you for your consideration, Jim McClintock THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NO. 2020-072 A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF A FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN IN RIGHT OF ONTARIO as represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM REGARDING THE RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (RED) PROGRAM – MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM QUALITY OF PLACE INITIATIVE WHEREAS the Municipality of Bayham is desirous of proceeding with the Municipality of Bayham Quality of Place Initiative; AND WHEREAS the Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs has approved funding for such project in an amount not to exceed $19,500 under the Rural Economic Development Fund; AND WHEREAS the Parties wish to proceed with the required Agreement; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Agreement attached hereto as Appendix “A” and forming part of this by-law between the Municipality of Bayham and Her Majesty The Queen In Right Of Ontario, as represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs; 2. THAT this by-law shall come into full force and effect upon final passing.
