The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning
regulations on the 38.5 ha (95.3 acres) retained lot from an Agricultural (A1) zone to a
Special Agricultural (A2) zone; and to change the 0.47 ha (1.1 acres) of severed lands
from an Agricultural (A1)zone to a site-specific Rural Residential (RR-XX)Zone in Zoning
By-law Z456-2003. The new residential lot is created surplus to a consolidated farm
operation. The subject lands are located at 57761 Glen Erie Line, on the west side of
Elgin County Road 55.
The effect of the by-law will be to fulfil two conditions of consent. Firstly, to recognize
residential use and to prohibit the keeping of livestock in the oversized accessory building
(barn) for the severed lands; and, secondly, to change the retained lands to an A2 Zone
in order to prohibit new residential dwellings.

TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of Bayham has received a complete application for a Zoning
By-law amendment.
AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham will hold a
public meeting on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council
Chambers, 56169 Heritage Line, Lower Level, in Straffordville to consider a proposed Zoning By-
law amendment under Section 34 of the PLANNING ACT.
THE PURPOSE of this By-law is to change the zoning regulations on the 38.5 ha (95.3 acres)
retained lot from an Agricultural (A1) zone to a Special Agricultural (A2) zone; and to change the
0.47 ha (1.1 acres) of severed lands from an Agricultural (A1) zone to a site-specific Rural
Residential (RR-XX)Zone in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The new residential lot is created surplus

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make a written or verbal representation in
support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make
written submissions to the Municipality of Bayham before the by-law is passed, the person or
public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Bayham to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make
written submissions to the Municipality of Bayham before the by-law is passed, the person or
public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning
Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
IF YOU WISH to be notified of the adoption of the proposed amendment, you must make a written
request to the undersigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed amendment may be obtained at the
Municipal Office.
