CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ketchabaw called the public meeting to order at 7:38 PM and asked those in attendance for this Planning Public Meeting regarding a Zoning By-Law Amendment application by Lester & Lorene Gingrich to place their name and contact information on the sign-in sheet provided at the podium. 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT A. Zoning By-law Amendment Application submitted by Lester and Lorene Gingrich The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning on a 12.9 ha (31 acres) parcel of land from an Agricultural (A1) zone to a site-specific Agricultural (A1-XX) zone to permit a second dwelling unit in the upper storey of the existing accessory building of 44.9m2 (484 ft2) floor area for the accessory use, in Zoning By-law No. Z456-2003. The subject lands are located at 5552 Godby Road, east side, south of Tunnel Line. 2 2019 Planning Meeting Minutes August 15, 2019 Lester& Lorene Gingrich The effect of the by-law will be to allow a second dwelling unit in the upper storey of the detached garage building built in 2019 for short-term accommodation for family and friends. 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None. 6. CORRESPONDENCE None. 7. OTHER BUSINESS None. 8. ADJOURNMENT Moved by: Deputy Mayor Weisler Seconded by: Councillor Chilcott THAT the Zoning By-law be considered at the meeting scheduled for September 5, 2019; AND THAT pursuant to the Planning Act requirements, the Public Meeting for Zoning Application Lester& Lorene Gingrich is now complete at 7:40 PM CARRIED —:AY•R
