A. Zoning By-law Amendment Application submitted by Lester and Lorene Gingrich
The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning on a
12.9 ha (31 acres) parcel of land from an Agricultural (A1) zone to a site-specific
Agricultural (A1-XX) zone to permit a second dwelling unit in the upper storey of the
existing accessory building of 44.9m2 (484 ft2) floor area for the accessory use, in Zoning
By-law No. Z456-2003. The subject lands are located at 5552 Godby Road, east side,
south of Tunnel Line.
The effect of the by-law will be to allow a second dwelling unit in the upper storey of the
detached garage building built in 2019 for short-term accommodation for family and
friends.
B. Zoning By-law Amendment Application with intent to pass an amending by-law to
remove a holding symbol submitted by N. Grewal
The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to remove the Holding (h2)
provisions on four (4) residential lots with a combined land area of 1.7 hectare (4.3 acres)
located on Part Lot 123, Concession North of Talbot Road, on the north end of
Straffordville along Sandytown Road, south of Stewart Road, in the Village of Straffordville
from the Village Residential Holding (R1(h2)) Zone to the Village Residential (R1) Zone in
the Zoning By-law of the Municipality of Bayham No. Z456-2003. The applicant will fulfill
the requirements of the holding provisions following approval of the Subdivision
Agreement By-Law No. 2019-069 to be considered August 15, 2019.
The effect of the by-law will be to permit the development of four (4) residential building
lots created by consent (Applications E65-68/18) in accordance with the Village —
Residential Uses policies of the Official Plan

The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning
on a 6,240 m2 (1.5 acres) parcel of land from a Rural Residential (RR) zone to a site-
specific Rural Residential (RR-XX) zone to permit a federally licensed cannabis
cultivation, micro use as an accessory industrial use to the main residential use; to
permit the outdoor cultivation with a growing area of 200m2 (2,152 ft2); and to permit
the indoor drying, curing and packaging of the cannabis flower inside the existing
accessory building of 44.9m2 (484 ft2) floor area for the accessory use, in Zoning By-
law No. Z456-2003. The subject lands are located at 7057 & 7059 Plank Road, west
side, north of Light Line.
The effect of the by-law will be to allow cannabis cultivation, micro use as a secondary
use; and to allow harvesting of cannabis within an accessory building.

TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of Bayham has received a complete application for a Zoning
By-law amendment.
AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham will hold a
public meeting on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers
in Straffordville to consider a proposed Zoning By-law amendment under Section 34 of the
PLANNING ACT.
THE PURPOSE of this By-law is to change the zoning on a 12.9 ha (31 acres) parcel of land from

public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Bayham to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
IF A PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make
written submissions to the Municipality of Bayham before the by-law is passed, the person or
public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning
Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
IF YOU WISH to be notified of the adoption of the proposed amendment, you must make a written
request to the undersigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed amendment may be obtained at the

TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of Bayham has received a complete application for
a Zoning By-law amendment.
AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham
will hold a meeting on Thursday August 15th, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council
Chambers in Straffordville to consider the removal of a holding symbol under Section 34
& 36 of the PLANNING ACT.
AND TAKE NOTICE that only the applicant may file an appeal to the Local Planning
Appeal Tribunal of a decision by Council not to remove the holding symbol, or where
Council fails to make a decision within 150 days after the application was submitted.
