BY-LAW NO. Z225-90
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2387
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham
deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387;
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham enacts as follows :
1 . THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Section 7, Rural Residential (RR) Zone
Regulations by adding a new subsection to Section 7 . 11
EXCEPTIONS - RR Zone as follows :
"7 . 11. 15
7 . 11. 15. 1 Defined Area
RR-15 as shown on Schedule 'A' , Maps 20 and 21 to
this By-law.
7 . 11. 15.2 Minimum Front Yard Width
50 .0 metres.
7 . 11. 15 . 3 Minimum Lot Area
0 . 8 hectares. "
2 . THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Schedule `A' , Maps 20 and 21 by deleting from
the Agricultural (Al) Zone and adding to the Special Rural
Residential (RR-15) Zone, those lands enclosed in heavy
solid lines and marked RR-15 on Schedule 'A' to this By-law,
which schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law.
3 . THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Section 7, Rural Residential (RR) Zone
Regulation by adding a new subsection to Section 7 . 11

4 . THAT By-law No. 2387 , as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Schedule 'A' , Map 21 by deleting from the
Special Agricultural (A1-9 ) Zone and adding to the Special
Rural Residential (RR-16 ) Zone, those lands enclosed in
heavy solid lines and marked RR-16 on Schedule `A' to this
By-law, which schedule is attached to and forms part of this
By-law.
5 . THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended,is hereby further amended
by deleting, Subsection 5 . 11. 9, Special Agricultural (A1-9)
Zone Regulations in its entirety.
6 . THIS By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1963 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

NOTICE OF THE PASSING
OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY
THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Bayham passed By-Law No. Z225-90 on the 1st day of March, 1990
under Section 34 of THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the
Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-law by filing with
the Clerk of the Township of Bayham not later than the 27th day
of March, 1990, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to
the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection.
An explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law,
describing the lands to which the By-law applies, and a Key Map
showing the location of the lands to which the By-law applies
(or, alternatively an explanation as to why a key map is not
provided) are attached. The complete By-law is available for
inspection in my office during regular office hours .

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of By-law No. Z225-90 is to change the zoning on a
0 . 89 hectare (2 .2 acre) parcel of land situated on the north side
of the road allowance between Concession 8 and the North Gore, in
Part Lots 20 and 21 Concession 8, in the Township of Bayham, from
the Special Agricultural (A1-9) Zone to the Special Rural
Residential (RR-15) Zone. Secondly, it will rezone the remainder
of the applicant's land holdings ( 3.6 hectares, or 8 . 9 acres)
from the Special Agricultural (A1-9) Zone to the Special Rural
Residential (RR-16 ) Zone.
The effect of this By-law will be to permit the creation of a
rural residential lot pursuant to the process of severance and
conveyance. It is proposed that the newly created lot (RR-16)
will have frontage on the Concession Road whereas the lot in-
tending to be retained will continue to be accessed from Highway
No . 19 . The Special Rural Residential zones will ensure that
additional subdividing of each lot will not occur without
Council's consent.
This By-law is intended to implement the policies of Official
Plan Amendment No. 68 which designates the subject lands "Rural
Residential" .
