BY-LAW NO. Z153-87
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2040
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham enacts as follows :
1 . THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended , is hereby further
amended by amending Schedule "F" by deleting from the
Future Development (FD) Zone and adding to the Hamlet
Residential (HR) Zone those lands outlined in heavy solid
lines and designated HR on Schedule "A" to this By-law,
which schedule is attached to and forms part of this
By-law.
2. THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended , is hereby further
amended by amending Schedule "A" Map 20 by deleting from
the Agricultural (A1) Zone and adding to the Institutional
(I ) Zone those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and
designated I on Schedule "B" to this By-law which schedule
is attached to and forms part of this By-law.
3 . This By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
READ a FIRST time this 18th day of June, 1987.
READ a SECOND time this 18th day of June, 1987.
READ a THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 18th day of June,
1987 .

OF BAYHAM PASSED BY-LAW #Z153-87 ON THE 18TH. DAY OF JUNE, 1987
UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT ANY PERSON OR AGENCY MAY APPEAL TO THE
ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN RESPECT OF THE BY-LAW BY FILING WITH
THE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM NOT LATER THAN THE 23RD.
DAY OF JULY, 1987, A NOTICE OF APPEAL SETTING OUT THE OBJECTION
TO THE BY-LAW AND THE REASONS IN SUPPORT OF THE OBJECTION.
AN EXPLANATION OF THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE BY-LAW,
DESCRIBING THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES, AND A KEY MAP
SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES
(OR, ALTERNATIVELY AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A KEY MAP IS NOT
PROVIDED) ARE ATTACHED. THE COMPLETE BY-LAW IS AVAILABLE FOR

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of By-law No. Z153-87 is to change the zoning on
two parcels of land which are located in part of Lot 123 (15) ,
S.S .T.R. (Concession VI) . Each parcel of land is situated
within the Hamlet of Straffordville as depicted on Schedule 'B '
to the Official Plan of the Township of Bayham. The northern-
most lot is comprised of approximately one hectare, is
presently vacant, and has frontage on County Road 38. The
southern lot is also vacant and has frontage on Centennial
Avenue in Straffordville.
The effect of this By-law will be to permit the creation of
eight hamlet residential building lots on Centennial Avenue,
and to permit the expansion of an existing cemetery which
fronts on County Road 38 . This proposed zone change will occur
pursuant to the process of severance and conveyance of each of
the above-noted parcels.
