Z151-87 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO, 2040 WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2040; THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham enacts as follows : 1 . THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting from the Institutional (I) Zone and adding to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone those lands enclosed in heavy solid lines and designated RR on Schedule "A" to this By-law, which schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law. 2. This By-law comes into force: a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto , upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board. DAY OF APRIL, 1987 UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE PLANNING ACT, 1983. AND TAKE NOTICE THAT ANY PERSON OR AGENCY MAY APPEAL TO THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN RESPECT OF THE BY-LAW BY FILING WITH THE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM NOT LATER THAN THE 21ST. DAY OF MAY, 1987, A NOTICE OF APPEAL SETTING OUT THE OBJECTION TO THE BY-LAW AND THE REASONS IN SUPPORT OF THE OBJECTION. AN EXPLANATION OF THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE BY-LAW, DESCRIBING THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES, AND A KEY MAP SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES (OR, ALTERNATIVELY AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A KEY MAP IS NOT PROVIDED) ARE ATTACHED. PETRIE CLERK OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM BOX 160 STRAFFORDVILLE, NOJ 1YO EXPLANATORY NOTE The purpose of By-law No. Z151-87 is to change the zoning on a parcel of land from the Institutional (I ) Zone to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone. The subject lands are comprised of 0.8 hectares (2 acres) and are located on the south side of County Road No . 38 in part of lot 20 (128) S.T.R. just east of the hamlet of Straffordville. The property is vacant but was formerly used as a municipal works yard . Adjacent land uses consist of primarily non-farm residential units to the east and west and a tobacco farm to the north.
