BY-LAW NO. Z125-84
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2040
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2040,
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham enacts as follows:
1 . THAT By-law No. 2040, as amended, is hereby further
amended by amending Section 10, Rural Commercial (RC) Zone
Regulations by adding a new subsection 10.10.24 to
subsection 10.10 Special Use Regulations after subsection
10.10.24 as follows:
"10.10.24
10.10.24. 1 Defined Area
RC-24 as shown on Schedule 'A" to this
By-law.
10.10.24.2 Permitted Uses
Motor vehicle sales establishment.
10.10.24.3 Permitted Buildings and Structures
Buildings and structures for the permitted
uses. "
2. THAT Schedule 'A' to By-law No. 2040 is hereby amended by
deleting from the Agricultural (Al ) Zone and adding to the
Special Rural Commercial (RC-24) Zone those lands enclosed
in heavy solid lines and designated RC-24 on Schedule 'A'
to this By-law which schedule is attached to and forms part
of this By-law and which schedule shall be deemed to be
known as Schedule 'A' , Map 51 to By-law No. 2040.
3. THIS By-law comes into force:
(a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
(b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township' s Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
READ a FIRST time this 7th day of June, 1984.
READ a SECOND time this 7th day of June, 1984.
READ a THIRD time and FINALLY PASSED this 7th day of June,
1984.

UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT ANY PERSON OR AGENCY MAY APPEAL TO THE
ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD IN RESPECT OF THE BY-LAW BY FILING WITH
THE CLERK OF THF TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM NOT LATER THAN THE 5 th
DAY OF JULY , 1984, A NOTICE OF APPEAL SETTING OUT THE
OBJECTION TO THE BY-LAW AND THE REASONS IN SUPPORT OF THE
OBJECTION.
AN EXPLANATION OF THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE BY-LAW, DESCRIB-
ING THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES, AND A KEY MAP SHOWING
THE LOCATION OF THE LANDS TO WHICH THE BY-LAW APPLIES (OR, ALTER-
NATIVELY, AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY A KEY MAP IS NOT PROVIDED) ARE

EXPLANATORY NOTE
i) The purpose of By-law No. Z125-84 is to change the zoning
on a property located in part of Lot 18, Concession III, in
the Township of Bayham from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to
the Special Rural Commercial (RC-24) Zone. The subject
lands are vacant and comprise 2909 m2 ( .52 acres) .
The effect of this By-law will be to permit the establish-
ment of a (used) motor vehicle sales establishment on the
subject property.

No. Z125-84 applies is provided below.

STATEMENT OF CONFORMITY
TO THE EAST ELGIN OFFICIAL PLAN
(TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM)
I, J.A. Petrie, the Clerk of the Corporation of the Township
of Bayham have reviewed By-law No. Z125-84 of the Corporation
of the Township of Bayham.
I am in the opinion that:
X The By-law is in conformity with the East Elgin
Official Plan as it applies to the Township of Bayham.
The East Elgin Official Plan does not contain
provisions that apply to land which this By-law
applies.
