NOTICE OF THE PASSING
OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY
THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF BAYHAM
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Bayham passed By-law No. Z245-90 on the 16th day of August,
1990 under Section 34 of THE PLANNING ACT, 1983.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the
Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-law by filing with
the Clerk of the Township of Bayham not later than the 11th day
of September, 1990, a notice of appeal setting out the objection
to the By-law and the rpasnus in support of the objection.
An explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law,
describing the lands to which the By-law applies, and a Key Map
showing the location of the lands to which the By-law applies
(or, alternatively an explanation as to why a key map is not
provided) are attached. The complete By-law is available for
inspection in my office during regular office hours .

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of By-law No. Z245-90 is to change the zoning on a
0.55 hectare (1.37 acre) parcel of land situated on the east side
of Highway No. 19, in Part Lot 20, Concession 8, in the Township
of Bayham, from the Rural Industrial (M2) Zone to the Special
Rural Industrial (M2-7) Zone. The effect of this By-law will be
to permit a motor vehicle sales establishment in addition to all
other permitted uses in the Rural Industrial (M2) Zone. It is
anticipated that this new use will be conducted from existing
buildings and structures.

BY-LAW NO. Z245-90
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2367
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham
deems it necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387;
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bayham enacts as follows :
1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Section 12, Rural Industrial (M2) Zone
Regulations by adding a new subsection to Section 12 . 10
EXCEPTION - (M2) Zone as follows :
"12 .10.7
12 . 10.7 . 1 Defined Area
M2-7 as shown on Schedule 'A' , Map 20 to this
By-law.
12 . 10.7 .2 Permitted Uses
A motor vehicle sales establishment in
addition to all other permitted uses in the
Rural Industrial (M2 ) Zone.
12 .10.7 . 3 Permitted Buildings and Structures
Existing buildings and structures for the
permitted uses . "
2 . THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended
by amending Schedule 'A' , Map 20 by deleting from the Rural
Industrial (M2) Zone and adding to the Special Rural
Industrial (M2-7) Zone, those lands enclosed in heavy solid
lines and marked M2-7 on Schedule 'A' to this By-law, which
schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law.
3 . THIS By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the
Township's Clerk within the time prescribed by the
Planning Act, 1983 and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

Public Meeting
Reeve , Vane Chute, declares a public meeting open as advertised to
accept comment on applications for official plan and zoning amendments from
Douglas & Bonita McGlyn and Frank Voth.
The application of Douglas & Bonita McGlyn to change the zoning on a
parcel. of land comprised of Approximately 4.65 hectares ( 1.1 . 5 acres)
situated on Lot 20, Concession 11 , in the Township of )3ayham, from the
Special Agricultural (A1-10) and (A1-11 ) zones to the Rural Industrial
(M2 ) zone. The effect of this By-Law will be to permit the establishment
of a multi use rural industrial operation.
Mr. Pat Carroll of Tiltran Services, Gerry Roza of Nick Ralaz Real
Estate and Mr . & Mrs Newell residents of Southwest Oxford Township were
present . Mr . Newell expressed concerns regarding possible drainage
problems that may be created by this development and the removal of an
existing woodlot . Mr. Newell was advised that the proposed development
would not create an excessive water runoff and that the existing bush
would remain virtually untouched . Mr. Carroll presented plans of the
proposed development . Council presented no comments on this application.
Correspondence was received from the Ministry of Natural Resources advising
they had no concerns with this application.
The application of Frank Voth to change the zoning on a 0 . 55 hectare
( 1 . 37 acre)• parcel of land situated on the east side of Highway No. 19,
in Part LOt 20, Concession 8 , in the Township of Bayham, from the Rural
Industrial (M2) Zone to Special Rural Industrial (M2-7) Zone . The effect
of this By-law will be to permit a motor vehicle sales establishment in
addition to all other permitted uses in the Rural Industrial (M2 ) zone.
Mr. Voth was present and briefly explained the purpose of his application .
Council presented no comments on this application. Correspondence was
received from the Ministry of Natural Resources advising they had no concerns
with this application. Correspondence received from the Elgin-St. Thomas ,
Health Unit indicated they had no objections to this application .
There being no further comments, Reeve Chute declares the public
meeting closed . -
