BY-LAW NO. Z367-96
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2387
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham deems it necessary to
amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387;
THEREFORE,the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Bayham enacts as follows:
1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending
Subsection 5.11 EXCEPTIONS-Al Zone by adding the following subsections:
"5.11.65.1 Defined Area
A1-65 as shown on Schedule "A", Map No. 14 to this By-law.
5.11.65.2 Minimum Lot Area
2.9 hectares (7 acres)
5.11.65.3 Minimum Lot Frontage
Notwithstanding any other section of this By-law,the minimum frontage
requirements in the A1-65 Zone shall be defined and accommodated by
the portion of the lot which abuts the Hamlet Residential(HR)Zone."
2. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending Schedule
"A",Map No. 14 by deleting from the Agricultural(Al)Zone and adding to the Special
Agricultural(A1-65)Zone,those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and marked A1-65
on Schedule "A" to this By-law,which schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-
law.
3. THAT this By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the Township's Clerk within the
time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto,upon the
expiration of the prescribed time; or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Township's Clerk within the
time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 29th DAY OF AUGUST, 1996.
READE A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 29th DAY OF AUGUST, 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of this By-law is to change the zoning on a parcel of land comprising approximately
2.96 hectares (7.3 acres) situated in Part Lot 24, Concession 9, in the Township of Bayham,
from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to a Special Agricultural (A1-65) Zone.
The effect of this By-law will be to recognize a reduced lot frontage and area on the retained
parcel of land resulting from a severance of adjacent lands situated in the Hamlet Residential
Zone.

I,Maureen Beatty hereby certify that the notice for By-law No. Z367-96 of the Corporation of
the Township of Bayham passed by the Council of the Corporation on the 29th day of August,
1996 was given in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by regulations made by the
Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under Section 34(18) of the Planning Act.
I also certify that the 20 day objection period expired on 25th day of September, 1996 and to this
date,no notice of objection has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
