HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning By-law No. Z396-1998 CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM BY-LAW NUMBER Z396-98 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2387 (James Crane/Brian &Karen Cluett) WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it necessary to amend Township of Bayharn Zoning By-law No. 2387; THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending Schedule "C",by deleting from the Institutional(I) Zone and adding to the Hamlet Residential(HR) Zone, those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and marked HR on Schedule"A"to this By-law,which schedule is attached to and forms part of this By-law. 3 THIS By-law comes into force: a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the Municipal Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Municipal Clerk within the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto, upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board. Z396-98 EXPLANATORY NOTE (James Crane/Brian &Karen Cluett) The purpose of this By-law is to change the zoning on a parcel of land comprising approximately 0.24 hectares (0.6 acres) situated on the west side of Henry Street, south of Best Line, in the Hamlet of Corinth, in the Municipality of Bayham from the Institutional (I) Zone to a Hamlet Residential(HR)Zone. The effect of this By-law will be to permit a residential use in the building formerly occupied by the Corinth United Church. MUNICIPALITY OF BAYHAM CLERK'S CERTIFICATE Section 34(2) of the Planning Act,R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13 I, Maureen Beatty, Co-ordinator of Planning and Community Services hereby certify on behalf of the Clerk,that the notice for By-law No. Z396-98 of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham passed by the Council of the Corporation on the 19th day of November, 1998 was given in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by regulations made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under Section 34(18)of the Planning Act. I also certify that the 20 day objection period expired on the 11th day of December, 1998 and to this date, no notice of objection has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
