BY-LAW NO. Z409-99

BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2387
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham deems it
necessary to amend its Zoning By-law No. 2387;
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham enacts as
follows:
1. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending
Schedule"A",Map No. 67 by deleting from the Agricultural (A1)Zone and
adding to the Institutional (I) Zone, those lands outlined in heavy solid lines and
marked I on Schedule "A"to this By-law,which schedule is attached hereto and
forms part of this By-law.
2. THAT By-law No. 2387, as amended, is hereby further amended by amending
Schedule "A", Map No. 67 by deleting from the Agricultural (Al) Zone and
adding to the Estate Residential (ER) Zone those lands outlined in heavy solid
lines and marked ER on Schedule"A" to this By-law,which schedule is attached
hereto and forms part of this By-law.
3. THIS By-law comes into force:
a) where no notice of objection has been filed with the Municipal Clerk
within the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the expiration of the prescribed time; or
b) where notice of objection has been filed with the Municipal Clerk, within
the time prescribed by the Planning Act and regulations pursuant thereto,
upon the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of this By-law is to change the zoning on a parcel of land comprising
approximately 1.42 hectares (3.6 acres) situated on the east side of Plank Road (County
Road No. 19), south of Light Line,in Part Lot 16, concession 3 in the Municipality of
Bayham, from the Agricultural (Al) Zone to the Estate Residential(ER) Zone and the
Institutional(I)Zone.
The effect of this By-law will be to facilitate the creation of one (1) new residential lot,
and to allow for the expansion of an existing cemetery to the south of the subject lands.

Section 34(2) of the Planning Act,R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13
I,Maureen Beatty, Co-ordinator of Planning and Deputy Clerk hereby certify that the
notice for By-law No. Z409-99 of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham passed
by the Council of the Corporation on the 16th day of December, 1999 was given in the
manner and form and to the persons prescribed by regulations made by the Lieutenant
Governor-in-Council under Section 34(18) of the Planning Act.
I also certify that the 20 day appeal period expired on the 9th day of January, 2000 and to
this date, no notice of objection has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
By-law No. Z409-99 is in full force and effect.
