CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ens called the public meeting to order at 7:36 p.m. and asked those in attendance for this Planning Public Meeting regarding a Zoning By-Law Amendment application by Dion Gale to place their name and contact information on the sign-in sheet provided at the podium. 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT A. Application submitted by Dion Gale The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning on a 2,266 m2 (0.5 acres) parcel of land from a Village Residential (R2) Zone to the Village Residential (R1) to permit a single detached dwelling use on the lands in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The subject lands are located at 27 Ann Street, south side, at the corner of Union Street, in the Village of Vienna. The effect of the by-law will be to allow a single detached dwelling to be constructed in a residential area currently intended for a higher density residential use. 2018 Planning Meeting Minutes September 6, 2018 Dion Gale 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None. 6. CORRESPONDENCE Deputy Clerkplanning Coordinator, M. Underhill advised 1 submission was received from 39 Union Street in support of the rezoning. 7. OTHER BUSINESS None. 8. ADJOURNMENT Moved by: Councillor Ketchabaw Seconded by: Councillor Casier THAT the Zoning By-law be considered at the meeting scheduled for September 20, 2018; AND THAT pursuant to the Planning Act requirements, the Public Meeting for Zoning Application Dion Gale is now complete at 7:38 p.m. CARRIED MAYO( CLERK
