CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ens called the public meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and asked those in attendance for this Planning Public Meeting regarding a Zoning By-Law Amendment application by Gary and Sandra Parker to place their name and contact information on the sign-in sheet provided at the podium. 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT A. Application submitted by Gary and Sandra Parker The purpose of the public meeting is to consider an application to temporarily change the zoning regulations on a 6,920 m2 (1.7 acres) parcel from Agricultural (A1) Zone to a combined Agricultural and Temporary (A1/T2-XX) zone to permit a garden suite, in the form of a one storey mobile home unit, for a period not to exceed ten (10) years in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The subject lands are located on the north side of Ridge Line, east of Plank Road known as 11301 Ridge Line. 2018 Planning Meeting Minutes Gary and Sandra Parker May 17, 2018 The effect of the by-law will be to allow for the installation of a temporary residence on the subject lands exclusively for the care of an elderly parent for a period not exceeding 10 years 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None. 6. CORRESPONDENCE No written correspondence was received. 7. OTHER BUSINESS None. 8. ADJOURNMENT Moved by: Councillor Casier Seconded by: Councillor Ketchabaw THAT the Zoning By-law be considered at the meeting scheduled for June 7, 2018; AND THAT pursuant to the Planning Act requirements, the Public Meeting for Zoning Application Gary and Sandra Parker is now complete at 7:37 p.m. CARRIED MAYOR R
