Report DS-58/17 by Bill Knifton, Chief Building Official/Drainage Superintendent re Centre Street Drain — North Award Contract Moved by: Councillor Ketchabaw Seconded by: Councillor Breyer THAT Staff Report DS-58/17 re Centre Street Drain — North Award Contract be received for information: AND THAT Council accept the tender for provision of drainage works set out in the Form of Tender for the Centre Street Drain - North, as submitted by VanBree Drainage and Bulldozing Limited, in the amount of$69,700.00 (excluding HST), with work to commence on or before April 1, 2018 and be completed on or before July 31, 2018; AND THAT By-Law 2017-106 being a by-law to authorize the execution of contract documents with VanBree Drainage and Bulldozing Limited be presented to Council for enactment. Report DS 60/17 by Bill Knifton, Chief Building Official/Drainage Superintendent re 3rd Quarter Report Moved by: Deputy Mayor Southwick Seconded by: Councillor Ketchabaw THAT Report DS-60-17 regarding the activities of the Building Services & Drainage Department for the third quarter of 2017 be received for information. Report DS-61/17 by Margaret Underhill, Deputy Clerk/Planning Coordinator re Consent Applications E71/17 and E72/17 Banman Moved by: Councillor Ketchabaw Seconded by: Councillor Breyer THAT Staff Report DS-61/17 regarding the Consent Applications E71/17 and E72/17 submitted by Johan and Anna Banman be received; AND THAT Council recommend to the Elgin County Land Division Committee that Consent Applications E71/17 and E72/17 be granted subject to the following conditions: 1. Planning report fee payable to the municipality 2. Copy of the final survey (paper and digital) provided to the municipality 3. Letter of Undertaking providing for the merger of the severed parcels with the adjacent westerly parcels as per the consent applications CARRIED 11. Report CAO-60/17 by Paul Shipway, CAO/Clerk re RFT 17-03 Public Works Facility Renovation Project Moved by: Councillor Ketchabaw Seconded by: Deputy Mayor Southwick THAT Report CAO-60/17 re RFT 17-03, Public Works Facility Renovation Project be received for information; AND THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham direct staff to bring forward a by-law to enter into an agreement with Drier Construction Group Ltd. in the amount of$308,327+HST for the Public Works Facility Renovation Project. CARRIED 12. BY-LAWS A. By-Law 2017-105 Being a By-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Municipality of Bayham and Underhill Trucking Ltd. (This by-law follows the resolution of Council during the Budget Meeting of October 2, 2017) B. By-Law 2017-106 Being a By-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Municipality of Bayham and VanBree Drainage and Bulldozing Limited (This by-law follows the recommendation made in Report DS-58/17 by Bill Knifton, Chief Building Official/Drainage Superintendent during the regular meeting of October 19, 2017) C. By-Law 2017-107 Being a By-law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Municipality of Bayham and Drier Construction Group Inc. for the Public Works Facility Renovation Project (This by-law follows the recommendation made in Report CAO-60/17 by Paul Shipway, CAO/Clerk during the regular meeting of October 19, 2017) Moved by: Deputy Mayor Southwick Seconded by: Councillor Breyer THAT By-Laws 2017-105, 2017-106 and 2017-107 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed. By-Law 2017-108 Being a By-law to confirm all actions of Council Moved by: Councillor Breyer Seconded by: Deputy Mayor Southwick THAT confirming By-Law 2017-108 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed.
