CALLTO ORDER Mayor Ens called the public meeting to order for Application D— Reimer at 7:47 p.m. and asked those in attendance for this Planning Public Meeting regarding a Zoning By-Law Amendment to place their name and contact information on the sign-in sheet provided at the podium 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT Application submitted by Henry Reimer THE PURPOSE of this public meeting is to consider an application to change the zoning regulations on a 0.7 ha (1.8 acres) parcel and on a 3.8 ha (9.4 acres) parcel in the Agricultural Site-specific (A1-3) Zone to an Agricultural (A1) Zone in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The subject lands are located on the south side of Best Line, east of Talbot Line known as 55653 & 55663 Best Line. THE EFFECT of the by-law will be to remove previous site-specific regulations for commercial greenhouse use which has ceased on the lands and to allow for the parcels to have the full range of permitted uses in the Agricultural (A1) zone. 2017 Planning Meeting Minutes - Reimer October 19, 2017 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION David Roe, Agent for the applicant provided an overview of the application to change the zoning to Agricultural (A1) which would allow full range of permitted uses as the Landscaping Business is no longer operating. 6. CORRESPONDENCE Deputy ClerkjPlanning Coordinator M. Underhill advised no written correspondence was received. 7. ADJOURNMENT Moved by: E. Ketchabaw Seconded by: R. Breyer THAT the Zoning By-law be considered at the meeting scheduled for November 2, 2017. AND THAT Pursuant to the Planning Act requirements, the Public Meeting for Application D - Reimer be adjourned at 7:51 p.m. AND THAT the regular meeting reconvene at 7:52 p.m. CARRIED / YOR M v' R
