CALLTO ORDER Mayor Ens called the public meeting to order at 7:41 p.m. and asked those in attendance for the Planning Public Meeting regarding a Rezoning to place their name and contact information on the sign-in sheet provided at the podium 2. DISCLOSURES OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. 3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS ON THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The Chairman stated the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. 4. PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT A. Application submitted by Frank and Monique Schroyens THE PURPOSE of this By-law is to change the zoning regulations on 0.9 ha (2.28 acre) of surplus farm dwelling lands in the Agricultural (Al-A) Zone to a Rural Residential (RR) Zone, to change the zoning regulations on 62 ha (154 acre) of farm lands to prohibit any new dwellings and to allow for relief of the minimum lot frontage in the Agricultural (A1-A) Zone to Special Agricultural Site-specific (A2-XX) Zone and to change the zoning regulations on 6 ha (15 acre) of land from Agricultural (A1-A) Zone to Agricultural (A1) Zone in Zoning By-law Z456-2003. The subject lands are located on the north side of Jackson Line, west of Plank Road known as 55016 and 54884 Jackson Line. THE EFFECT of this By-law will be to change the zoning of lands for the severance of a surplus farm dwelling to allow for residential use on a 0.9 ha (2.28 acre) parcel, to prohibit 2017 Council Minutes March 2, 2017 future dwellings on the retained 62 ha (154 acre) farm parcel, to allow for reduced lot frontage on the retained farm parcel and to change the zoning on 6 ha of land from Al-A Zone to Al Zone. 5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None. 6. CORRESPONDENCE Planning Coordinator I Deputy Clerk M. Underhill advised no written submissions were received. 7. OTHER BUSINESS None. 8. ADJOURNMENT Pursuant to the Planning Act requirements the Public Meeting is now complete and the Zoning by-law will be considered at the meeting scheduled for March 16, 2017.
