Box 160,9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE,ONTARIO Wednesday,November 24, 1999 1:00 p.m. The special meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham, was held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday,November 24, 1999 in the Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy Mayor John Nezezon, Councillor Mathew Schafer, Administrator Kyle Kruger, Clerk Lynda Millard, and Co-Ordinator of Planning Services Maureen Beatty. Councillors David Mason and Cliff Evanitski were absent. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Max Stewart called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF There was no disclosure of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof. 3. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION AND DISCUSSION (a) Revisions to original logo design. Four alternatives of the original design had been prepared by David Mason for Council's consideration. File: D06 99-667 Moved by J. Nezezon Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bayham approves the proposed new logo design, revision "B",with red only on the top of the Lighthouse,for the Municipality; AND THAT David Mason be requested to make this design camera ready art in black and white and colour for use by the Municipality; AND THAT upon completion of the design as camera ready David Mason transfer all rights of ownership to the Municipality of Bayham; AND THAT Council authorize payment to David Mason hi the amount of $ 150.00 once the work and the transfer of ownership is completed." File: L04 99-668 Moved by J.Nezezon Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT the Provincial Water Protection Fund Agreement for sewage works projects Nos. 88-1350-01 and 88-1338-01 be approved; AND THAT By-law 99-13, being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of the Environment be presented to Council for enactment." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 4. BY-LAWS By-law 99— 13 A By-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of the Environment with respect to the Provincial Water Protection Fund 99-669 Moved by J.Nezezon Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT the By-law 99-13 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed."
