The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 9:00 a.m. on
Thursday,April 1, 1999 in the Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart,
Deputy Mayor Jack Petrie, Councillors David Mason, John Nezezon,and Cliff Evanitski,
Administrator/Treasurer Lynn S. Buchner, and Clerk Lynda Millard.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Max Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

There was no disclosure of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof.

intention to pass By-law No. 99-16, being a by-law to repeal By-law No. 96-22, to
change or assign names to streets in both the Tillsonburg News and the Aylmer
Express, once per week for four consecutive weeks and to notify in writing the
following parties of the proposed by-law amendment:

"THAT the County of Elgin correspondence dated March 17, 1999 regarding the
Manager of Engineering Services Reports on `Structures in Lower-Tiers' and
`Connecting Links in the Lower-Tier' be received;
AND THAT Council of the Municipality of Bayham supports the recommendation
'That a County by-law be prepared to assume all structures in lower tiers greater
than 3.0 metres';
AND THAT Council supports the recommendation that the County assume
connecting links road/structures listed on Table 1 of the aforementioned
Engineering Services Report to become effective May 1, 1999;
AND THAT Council of the Municipality of Bayham support use of the $1.6 million
Highway Transfer Reserve subject to a reserve being established in 1999 to
complete deck replacements and resurfacing on parts of County Roads 3, 4 and 19
as originally planned."

Park regarding public access to the day use area and beach."
