The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 9:00 a.m. on
Thursday,February 4, 1999 in the Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart,
Deputy Mayor Jack Petrie, Councillors David Mason, John Nezezon, and Cliff Evanitski,
Administrator/Treasurer Lynn S. Buchner, and Clerk Lynda Millard.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Max Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

There was no disclosure of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof.

AND THAT Council approves $ 34,000. in additional fees incurred as Project
Management as part of the preliminary engineering phase, to be claimed under the
MAP funding program;
AND THAT Council approves the proposal contained therein for the provision of
Project Management services, for a fee of approximately $ 145,000. (1% of
estimated total construction costs), for services to be rendered for the construction
phase of the sanitary sewer project for the Hamlets of Eden and Straffordville and
the Village of Vienna;
AND THAT Council hereby appoints Cyril J. Demeyere Limited and Acres and
Associated as Consulting Engineers to proceed with preparation of final design for
the collection and treatment phases, respectively, of the sewage works project,
subject to the consulting engineering fees not exceeding 11% of the final
construction cost."
