Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Wednesday,February 3, 1999 9:30 a.m. A special meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 1999 in the Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy Mayor Jack Petrie, Councillors David Mason, John Nezezon, and Cliff Evanitski,Administrator/Treasurer Lynn S. Buchner, and Clerk Lynda Millard. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Max Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF There was no disclosure of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof. 3. DELEGATIONS (a) Andy Valickis, P. Eng., Senior Project Manager, Ontario Clean Water Agency was present regarding Items 4.1(d) & (e) 4. ENVIRONMENT 1. CORRESPONDENCE& REPORTS (a) Cyril J. Demeyere Limited Sewage Project Costs summary and calculation of PWPF Grants. File: E01 99-66 Moved by J. Petrie Seconded by D. Mason "THAT the Cyril J. Demeyere Limited Sewage Project Costs summary and calculation of PWPF Grants be received for information." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously (b) Correspondence dated January 25, and 27, 1999 from Paul and Mary DeCloet, Basil Nevill, and Gabe DeCloet in support of the Eden and Straffordville sewage projects. File: E01 99-67 Moved by D. Mason Seconded by J. Petrie "THAT the correspondence dated January 25 and 27, 1999 from Paul and Mary DeCloet,Basil Nevill, and Gabe DeCloet be received for information." Mason "THAT the Comment Sheets regarding the proposed sewage projects for Eden, Straffordville and Vienna be received for information." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously (d) Consideration of the Provincial Water Protection Fund Agreement for Sewage Works Project for Eden, Straffordville, and Vienna. File: Fi l Councillor Nezezon requested a Recorded Vote on the following Motion: 99-69 Moved by J.Nezezon Seconded by C. Evanitski "THAT the Ministry of the Environment Provincial Water Protection Fund Template Agreement be received; AND THAT Council of the Municipality of Bayham hereby supports the sanitary sewage project for the Hamlets of Eden and Straffordville, and the Village of Vienna; AND THAT a By-law be presented to Council for enactment, upon receipt of the official Agreement,authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to endorse the Agreement with the Ministry of the Environment."
