Public Meeting (7:30 p.m.)
The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday,November 1, 2001 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart,Deputy
Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors David Mason,Mathew Schafer and Cliff Evanitski,
Administrator Kyle Kruger, Clerk Lynda Millard, Public Works Superintendent Bob Bartlett and
Fire Chief Sam Taylor. The Clerk vacated Council Chambers during the "In Camera" Session.
Members of the public present at the Public Meeting were John Willson,Harry Schipper and
Carl Russell.

Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

1. Application:
7:30 p.m. - Application submitted by Harry and Grace Schipper to change zoning on a
parcel of land comprising approximately 1.0 hectares(2.5 acres)woodlot situated on the
west side of Culloden Road, south of Talbot Line(Highway 3)being Part of Lot 5,
Concession 8 from the Agriculture(Al) Zone to a site specific Rural Industrial M2 zone.

Staff Report D2001-49 was presented by the Administrator.
4. Public Comments
John Willson questioned whether there is intended development in this area, and was
advised that it has been indicated that the intent is to maintain a buffer area for the
property to which this will be added.
5. Council Comments and Questions
C. Evanitski questioned whether the rezoning would allow the construction of Industrial
buildings on the site and was advised that the zoning would permit industrial
development, however, due to the features of the property, other criteria would have to be
met prior to permit approval.
