Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Thursday,August 2,2001 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2001 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors David Mason, Mathew Schafer and Cliff Evanitski, Administrator Kyle Kruger, Clerk Lynda Millard, Co-ordinator of Planning Michael Graves and Treasurer Richard Faber. The Clerk left Council Chambers during discussion of Item 11.1(d). 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 19, 2001. (It was noted that the Mover for Resolution# 2001-336 should be L. Acre not C. Evanitski). 2001-341 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by D.Mason "THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Municipality of Bayham held July 19,2001 be approved as corrected." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 4. DELEGATIONS None Changes to the Agenda Council was advised that Staff Report F2001-15 regarding Financial Reporting for the period ending July 31, 2001 was not available and requested the addition of Staff Report C2001-15 regarding Extension of the Job Creation Partnership Program(Health Needs Assessment). Evanitski "THAT the correspondence dated July 24,2001 from Diana Norris regarding Watermelon Fest activities be received; AND THAT Council approve the proposed Parade Route; AND THAT the Council of the Municipality of Bayham hereby requests permission from the County of Elgin to use Plank Road from Third Street, south to Heritage Line and Heritage Line west to the Bayham Community Centre on Saturday August 25,2001 between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. during the Parade in Straffordville; AND THAT the Bayham Public Works Department co-ordinate traffic safety and control with the Fire Department."
