Box 160,9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Thursday,March 1,2001 9:00 a.m. The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1,2001 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart,Deputy Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors David Mason, Mathew Schafer and Cliff Evanitski, Administrator Kyle Kruger, Clerk Lynda Millard and Planning Co-ordinator Michael Graves. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF There was no disclosure of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof. 1 APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 15, 2001 2001-105 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Municipality of Bayham held February 15, 2001 be approved." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 2001-106 Moved by M. Schafer Seconded by C. Evanitski "THAT the following item be added to the Agenda as Item 9.1 (g)for consideration by the Council of the Municipality of Bayham at the regular meeting being held Thursday,March 1,2001: Staff Report F2001 and attached By-law 2001-27, being a By-Law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a Discharge of Mortgage." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 4. DELEGATIONS 9:05 a.m.—Art Veldhuizen ratepayer,was present to request permission to establish a bee yard on Municipal property at Beatty Line. Mr. Veldhuizen advised that he is a member of the Ontario Beekeepers Association and has liability insurance coverage. Item 8.1(a) COUNCIL MINUTES - 45 - March 1,2001 4. DELEGATIONS (continued) 9:30 a.m.—Arved Neumann1 ratepayer,was present regarding the waste disposal site on Jackson Line. He raised concerns regarding the protection of individual rights under the Ontario Environmental Bill of Rights. The Administrator noted that the municipality is currently awaiting a report from the solicitor. 5. INFORMATION ITEMS 2001-107 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by M.
