Ontario Heritage Foundation Award Presentations
6:30 p.m.
Mayor Max Stewart presented Ontario Heritage Foundation Awards and pins to Keith
Danbrook; Kristine Preszcator(Nezezon) and Louise Weston in Council Chambers.
Nominations had been forwarded to the Foundation in the spring of 2001 for consideration.
Mr. Danbrook had been nominated for his contribution to the preservation of our agricultural
heritage through his participation at fairs, his construction of a private museum for his extensive
personal collection and publication of his autobiography "Precious Memories". Kristine and
Louise were nominated for their extensive research, work and preparation of material for the
Bayham sesquicentennial publication "Memories&Milestones".
A considerable number were on hand to offer congratulations during the following social time.
The regular meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, January 17, 2002 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy
Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors David Mason and Matt Schafer, Administrator Kyle Kruger,
Clerk Lynda Millard and Coordinator of Planning Michael Graves.
Councillor Cliff Evanitski was absent

Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

"THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Municipality of Bayham held
December 20,2001 be approved."

At the request of Deputy Mayor Acre and Councillor Schafer correspondence from the
Township of Chatsworth and the City of London were added to the agenda as items 9.1(g)
and 9.1(h).

4. DELEGATIONS
(a) 7:20 p.m.-Tony Csinos,President, Bayham Historical Society was in attendance to
present an application under the municipal assistance policy. Mr. Csinos reminded
Council that the Society had been formed in 2001 to assist in the preservation of
Bayham's Iocal heritage and that Council's endorsement would be crucial in their quest
for funding support from other sources.
