Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Monday,April 28,2003 7:00 p.m. A special meeting of Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2003 in the Committee Room. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors Matt Schafer and Cliff Evanitski, Administrator Kyle Kruger and Clerk Lynda Millard. I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF None 3. COMMITl'EE OF THE WHOLE 2003-208 Moved by M. Schafer Seconded by C. Evanitski "THAT the Council do now rise to enter into an "In Camera" Session of Committee of the Whole to discuss confidential personal matters." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 2003-209 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT the Committee of the Whole do now rise from the "In Camera" Session." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 1. CORRESPONDENCE&REPORTS (a) Consideration of confidential letters of interest submitted for the appointment to the position of Councillor Ward 1. File: C12 Correspondence received was opened during the closed session,following which Councillor Schafer advised of a conflict of interest concerning potential appointee K C. Emerson and did not vote on the selection. 2003-210 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by C. Evanitski "THAT K. C. Emerson be appointed to the position of Councillor Ward 1, to serve the remainder of the current term of Council for the Municipality of Bayham." Disposition: Motion Carried COUNCIL MINUTES - 79- April 28, 2003 4. BY-LAW By-law 2003 - 039 A By-law to confirm all actions of Council 2003-211 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by M. Schafer "THAT confirming By-law 2003-039 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 5. ADJOURNMENT 2003-212 Moved by C.
