Box 160, 9344 Plank Road STRAFFORDVILLE, ONTARIO Thursday, April 17,2003 7:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the Council of the Municipality of Bayham was held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2003 in Council Chambers. Present were Mayor Max Stewart, Deputy Mayor Lynn Acre, Councillors Matt Schafer and Cliff Evanitski, Administrator Kyle Kruger, Co-ordinator of Planning 1 Deputy-Clerk Michael Graves and Treasurer Suzanna Mantel. 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Max Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF Councilor Matt Schafer declared an interest in Items 6.1(c) and 6.1(d) as he owns or is related to the owner of these properties and vacated Council Chambers during discussion of these items. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 3, 2003 2003-180 Moved by L. Acre Seconded by C. Evanitski "THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Municipality of Bayham held April 3,2003 be approved." Disposition: Motion Carried Unanimously 4. DELEGATIONS Valerie Donnell was present and explained her desire to submit a proposal for a more permanent structure housing a restaurant and a washroom/changeroom facility on the east beach at Port Burwell. In the meantime she would hie to put a temporary food booth down at the beach while she develops her business plan for the more permanent structure. Council advised Ms. Donnell that they were going to tender the beach concession booth in the near future and invited her to submit a tender. They encouraged her to continue to develop her business plan for a more permanent structure. 5. INFORMATION ITEMS 2003-181 Moved by C. Evanitski Seconded by L.
